Carl Sandburg Historic Site Associaltion- Galesburg, IL "Songbag Series"

The Songbag Series is named for Carl Sandburg's collection of songs and stories The American Songbag. The series aims to present an array of musical showcases that honor the legacy of Sandburg as a poet, writer, activist, musician, and prophet. Much of Sandburg's work beautifully tells tales of wisdom and wit- and The American Songbag reminds us of his respect and admiration of the troubadour, the bard, the musician that tells life's stories through song. This event is hosted by the Carl Sandburg Historic Site Association in Galesburg IL. Details TBA as the date moves closer.
